ABOUT US

Marine Actvities Developments (MAD) is a husband and wife partnership between Fred and Shirley McKenzie.  The business began with the designing of the Gauge Cage in 1992 which was initially designed to combat an ongoing problem with deterioration of rental dive equipment gauges, and to compliment new computers that were being purchased for these purposes.  This was during the period that the SCUBA training operation Moreton Academy of Diving (MAD) was owned and managed by Fred and Shirley. The McKenzies hold a current national and interational patent on the Gauge Cage product and have marketed and promoted the product at both national and international SCUBA trade shows. Marine Activities Developments is essentially a wholesale business, marketing exclusively to the SCUBA industry.
